An auto components man, he moved from the reputed home ground of many leading corporate doyens, Usha International to Real Estate a decade back, creating many case studies in his pan-India experience.
He turned around businesses, at Usha (Auto Components), Omaxe, Central Park, M3M Delivered Residences, plus the latest at Krisumi, which all made headlines for their V-shaped rise. Omaxe Indore & New Chandigarh stood out as they grew from 100 acre projects to 1,000 acre mega townships.Another game changer was at Central Park Resorts, where he created a new product ‘The Room’, Delhi-NCR’s first fully serviced apartments with 5-star hospitality services.
His tie-up with Maruti Suzuki & other MNCs for expat stays in over 200 apartments is a historical residential capitalization. ‘The Room’ became a brand & appreciated over 2X. Industry credits him for creating the Possession Link Plan. “Healthy returns and bottom-line create sustainability & market credibility” is the mantra he assuages.
‘Customer King-Centricity’, a term he coined, is a religion he feels every sales & marketing person must follow to the T. “Sales is not a transaction but an environment. Every day, I create & reevaluate that environment” he underlines. Nanda strongly believes that failures are his best coach. “Success is not just milestones. The real mettle lies in bouncing back after crisis” he maintains. He experienced this early when he donned the entrepreneur's hat for auto components trading.
