Riding high on robust demand from new clients and leasing momentum shown by the existing clients, Brookfield India Real Estate Trust , has successfully leased around 311,000 sq ft of office space across its pan- India commercial properties during April- June quarter of the current financial year. As much as 85 percent of the new leasing demand during the April-June quarter was attributed to existing occupiers.
Brookfield India Real Estate Trust whose portfolio consists of 18.6 million sq ft( 14.2 million sq ft completed area and 4.4 million sq ft of future development potential), has seen its REIT adjusted net operating income increasing 38 percent from a year ago , to Rs 230 crore. Its operating lease rentals went up by 26 percent YoY to Rs 200 crore.
