Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh is under spotlight with the opening of India’s largest shopping mall spread over 22 lakh sq ft.. Launched by Abu Dhabi- based supermarket chain Lulu Group, the Lucknow Mall shares honours with Lulu Group’s Kochi Mall which also spans over 22 lakh sq ft. This is the fourth mall by Lulu Group in India. The other two in Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore are spread over 20 lakh sq ft and 8 lakh sq ft respectively. Lulu’s Thiruvananthapuram mall matches DLF’s Mall of India in size.
The major highlight of Lulu Lucknow Mall is the presence of over 300 national and international retail brands. All stores and retail outlets are strategically centred so as to give the mall a distinctive shopping ambience.The mall houses 15 fine dining restaurants and cafes, besides a mega food court with 25 branded outlets.
Lulu’s 65000 sq ft entertainment zone- Funtura will be unique in the country. The cutting-edge VR-enabled arena will host a myriad assortment of video games, roller coasters and a trampoline park. The hallmark of the mall will be the Lulu Hypermarket which on completion will be the largest hypermarket in Uttar Pradesh.
