Following the tepid property sales in Q3 2024, Mumbai has clocked impressive sales registrations in the festive October month.
According to Knight Frank, Mumbai municipal region riding on the high demand, saw 22% increase in property registrations in October, with sales at 12960 units, surpassing the 2023 figure of 10607 property registrations. Out of total property registrations, 80 percent constituted residential units, underscoring strong housing demand in the city..
This strong sales momentum, according to Knight Frank India CMD, Shishir Baijal , is fuelled by stable interest rates ,strong appetite for premium properties and home ownership sentiment remaining high. Knight Frank expects the robust registration volumes to continue , supported by favourable market conditions.
