A report said housing sales rose in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad, but fell in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.  

According to REA India's CFO, Vikas Wadhawan, the top eight residential markets in India are still expanding.

Housing sales increased by 8% in Maharashtra's Mumbai and Pune due to high demand.

Bengaluru's housing market had a 19% decline.

Ahmedabad experienced a 17% growth.

Chennai's home sales decreased by 5%.

Housing Sales dropped by 28% in Delhi NCR.

Sales decreased by 3% and 40% in Hyderabad and Kolkata, respectively.

MMR sold 16% more homes than the same time last year.
