The Uttar Pradesh government is considering a rehabilitation package.

For stalled real estate projects to assist homebuyers.

The package, based on recommendations by an expert committee

Includes granting a four-year 'zero period' to developers

Allowing collaboration between the original allottee and a co-developer

And waiving interest payments and penalties on default.

If the concessions under the zero-period policy are implemented

Noida Authority would have to forgo around Rs 7,400 crore.

And the Yamuna Expressway Authority would lose out on around Rs 1,000 crore.
