Mr. Akshay Sethi returned to India in 2008 to manage Stellar Group of Companies, a privately-held business group into real estate development & construction, hospitality, information technology, and educational entertainment. Within the Real Estate development business, the Stellar Group has executed projects totaling 8 million sq ft spread across residential and commercial projects. Stellar is a fully integrated design and construction company with an in-house architectural practice and in-house execution team. Stellar already has approximately 1 mln sq ft of office space under lease and is currently constructing three IT parks totaling 1.5 mln sq ft in Sector 142, Noida along with DMI Alternatives, a $250 mln Alternate Investment Fund. All of Stellar’s new commercial developments are LEED Platinum pre-certified and provide “Health Working Offices” that employ air quality improvement features within the facilities. Prior to his return to India, Mr. Akshay Sethi was an Associate at McKinsey & Company in their New York office where he presented recommendations to global heads of business on various strategic initiatives across multiple industries such as banking and financial services, media and entertainment, consumer packaged goods, law firms all of whom were Fortune 500 companies.
