The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will light up this Diwali for home aspirants by bringing a new housing scheme. Under this scheme , 3000p premium residential properties will be on offer.
As part of this festive scheme, Super HIG, HIG, MIG and EWS flats, besides penthouses will be offered in Dwarka, Lok Nayak Puram, Vasant Kunj etc. The major highlight of this scheme is that this time DDA will be offering penthouses and Super HIG apartments in Dwarka. The MIG and EWS flats on offer, will be available in Sector 14 Dwarka and Lok Nayak Puram.
These flats will be available through a lottery. DDA has specially relaxed the eligibility criteria for this festive scheme. In earlier DDA schemes, home seekers who already possessed a flat or a plot of land in Delhi were not eligible for draw of lots. But this time DDA has done away with the restrictive clause that a person already having a DDA flat or plot in Delhi measuring more than 67 square metre is not eligible for new schemes. In another significant relaxation , DDA will be allowing the merging of two adjacent apartments into a bigger flat . For amalgamation of flats , there will be no bar on size of the plots.
DDA has not come out with pricing details of these apartments. However, these prices will be fixed, keeping in view the prevailing market rates of flats of private developers in the localities in which DDA is offering apartments. The Authority will be introducing preferential location charges on the basis of floor, sun-facing and corner flat etc.
Those who miss the bus this time , can look forward to the allotment of 23000 newly constructed flats (largely LIG flats in Narela) in the New Year.
