Torbit - October 27, 2023 - - 0 |

Riding high on the overwhelming success of its residential plots scheme in sectors 16, 17, and 20  along the Yamuna Expressway, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has decided to launch another similar scheme early next year. It may be mentioned that YEIDA had received  1.4 lakh applications for 1184 residential plots

The highlight of this upcoming housing plot scheme will be its proximity to Noida International Airport. YEIDA proposes to offer more than 2,000 residential plots of different sizes under this scheme. According to Arun Vir Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Yeida, the new scheme has been planned keeping in view the home seekers’ choice for plots near the Jewar International Airport in Greater Noida where they can build the houses of their choice.

Preparations with regard to the land acquisition are already afoot and as soon as the land acquisition gets completed, the new scheme of residential plots will be floated, mentioning the number of plots on offer and their sizes

In a related development, good news awaits about 15000 home buyers of stuck affordable housing projects in Gurgaon in the New Year, with the Directorate of Town & Country Planning (DTCP ), Haryana, along with Haryana  Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA),  taking necessary steps to ensure the delivery of stalled homes.

These home buyers of 9 affordable housing projects of Gurgaon have been waiting for over a decade to get their homes. As many as 5000  of these buyers had invested in Mahira Homes’ five projects in sectors 63, 68, 95, 103, and 104 of Gurgaon. The delivery of their homes is still eluding them after several years. Three projects of OSB Group in Sectors 69, 70, and 109 and one project – Greenopolis of Orris Infrastructure, are also stuck for a long time. The 9 projects were stalled due to alleged financial and licensing irregularities. Last year H-RERA had ordered a forensic audit of all five stalled projects of Mahira Homes after allegations of irregularities in procuring licences.
