As real estate showed remarkable recovery in 2022 with residential realty setting new records, listed real estate players have contributed significantly to the growth of real estate. The top 12 listed real estate firms are likely to report 24 percent volume growth in CY 22.
According to the Motilal Oswal Financial Services Report, industry growth of 34 percent is higher compared to the growth of listed players , largely due to the base effect. as most of the large players have witnessed significantly higher growth in CY 21. However, listed realty firms are expected to report value growth of 35 percent in CY 22.

In order to capitalise on growth momentum of real estate sector to drive high growth, most of the listed real estate companies are targeting at least two new markets , apart from their home market. This will lead to a further pick up in the market share of listed developers. There is a likelihood of 15 percent YoY growth in pre-sales in FY 24, 500 bps higher than the expected market growth.
