This year Dussehra will be bringing festive cheers for hundreds of home aspirants as on October 18, a week before the popular festival, the draw of Yamuna Authority’s much talked about residential plot scheme will be held. As per this scheme, a total of 1184 plots will be on offer. Interestingly, 140750 home aspirants have applied for this scheme.
For this plotted scheme near the upcoming Jewar International Airport, launched on August 8 last, the draw for the 120 sq metre plots will be held in Sector 16, 17 and 20 of Yamuna Expressway. The price of Rs 24600 per square metre has been fixed for these plots.
There are three different payment plans offered to the applicants of this scheme. Under Payment Plan 1 , applicants are required to pay the total price of the plot in one instalment within 60 days of the allotment. There is a provision to make full payment of the plot in instalments spread over three and five years under Plan 2 and Plan 3 respectively.
According to the rules of the scheme, the beneficiaries of the earlier plotted scheme of the Yamuna Authority are not eligible for this scheme.
